Molly agonized over every minute of the lesson when she was home, staring at her work on her laptop but unable to focus. There had definitely been something between them, but she couldn't help but wonder if Hunter acted that way with the other women he taught. Imagining him standing behind another girl, someone prettier than Molly, taller than her, more outgoing, running his hands over her hips and whispering into her ear stabbed straight through her. It was a confusing emotion to have. Could she be falling for someone else already? Her and Nick had been on a downward spiral for a while, but she had loved him. No, she did love him. She glared at her computer. She was just flattered by the attention a hot guy had given to her, that was all. The next time would be better, she promised herself.

It turned out to be a difficult promise to keep. The next few lessons were better, but Molly couldn't deny how they seemed to tiptoe around each other, and even a week and a half later things were still the same. The day was unseasonably warm, and the air conditioning in the building hadn't been turned on early enough to be able to catch up. Fans had been set up to run and try to keep everyone cool, but back in the room where Hunter had his lessons it was stuffy and hot. Molly had gone so far as to pull off her shirt and stretch in her sports bra and shorts. She had intended to put her tank back on before Hunter came in, but he had an uncanny knack for surprising her. Molly wasn't sure whether to cover herself up or not so when she whipped around to face him at the sound of his greeting she stood there with her arms awkwardly at her sides.

“That's a good idea,” Hunter said, and without warning whipped his own shirt off and threw it over his shoulder. Molly very nearly fainted on the spot. She had known he was fit, he had to be, but she hadn't expected such chiseled muscles. There was a faint patch of dark curls across his chest and a thin line of fuzz that travelled from his navel down into his shorts. And she had thought Nick had muscles. She would never be able to focus now, but it was just too warm to think about putting her shirt back on, even with the fan in the corner on high.

“Don't worry,” he continued at the look on her face, “we'll take it easy today, and I brought plenty of water.” He crossed the room to where the punching bag was still sitting and dragged it over, standing on his toes to hang the chain from the ceiling. It must have been ridiculously heavy, but he managed to lift it on his own and stopped it swinging with his hands. “Let's see how high you can get your kicks.” Molly forced herself to forget that she was standing in her sports bra in front of a man and faced the punching bag.
